The Career Path of Dr. Sharon Marble

Once she had completed her education, Dr. Sharon Marble was eager to get started learning as much as she could in order to help people. She started at the Mendota Mental Health Institute as a Medical Officer. This particular position was of the moonlighting variety. The position she had was a great opportunity to learn from for her as well because the facility was a State of Wisconsin mental health facility that housed both forensic as well as civil patients. Having both types of patients expanded her knowledge base. After working there for two years, she moved to Locum Tenens.com a Maine correctional center. While she was only there for a short time, she was still able to glean knowledge from the work she did there and better her services in the future. After that, she moved to Main Correctional Center in the Liberty Healthcare and Correctional Medical Services department where she found a great fit for the beginning of her career. It was at this location, that Dr. Sharon Marble felt that she could learn the most while working with patients that truly needed her help.

After a wonderful stint of almost seven years at Maine Correctional Center, she went to work a short time at Kennebec Behavioral Health and then started her own practice thereafter. By having her own practice, she has been able to keep up much of her life interests such as traveling, pets and politics while maintaining a thriving practice that she has worked hard to have and that she can be proud of.
